MIRM, CGB, CMP, NAHB’s Third Vice Chairman of the Board
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]Randy Noel, MIRM, CGB, CMP, NAHB’s Third Vice Chairman of the Board, is a Louisiana-based custom home builder with more than 30 years of experience in the residential construction industry. Noel founded Reve Inc., a custom home building firm in Laplace, La., in 1985. His company has built more than 1,000 custom homes in the greater New Orleans area. Noel has been active in the NAHB leadership structure at the local, state and national levels throughout his career. A senior life director, he has served on the NAHB Board of Directors for more than 20 years and is a member of the NAHB Executive Board. He has also served as chairman of the NAHB Resolutions Committee and Housing Finance Committee and has held seats on several other influential committees, including the State and Local Government Affairs Committee, the Legal Action Committee and the Budget Committee. In 2009 he was the NAHB State Representative from Louisiana and in 2012 he was elected the National Area Chair Moderator. Noel has served as president of the Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans as well as the Louisiana Home Builders Association. In addition, he was named Builder of the Year by the HBA of Greater New Orleans in 1997 and was inducted into the Louisiana Builders Hall of Fame in 2008. An expert on codes issues, Noel is a past member and chairman of the Louisiana State Uniform Construction Code Council from 2006-2011, when he helped craft statewide code law and provided counsel during the formation of the inaugural Louisiana State Unified Code Council. He and his wife, Teri, live in New Orleans and have two grown children.
NAHB’s senior officers serve on a multi-year leadership ladder. Noel will become Chairman of NAHB’s Board of Directors in 2018.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
