As the Compliance Manager for Property Interlink, he oversees procedures, training, licensing, audit, operations, and review functions. His ongoing goal is to increase accuracy and efficiency through the use of sound reasoning and communication, appropriate methodology and tools, and proper oversight.
Prior to joining Property Interlink, he provided fee appraisal and consultation services. In 2013, he was the appraiser member of Colorado’s AMC Rulemaking Taskforce. In 2015, Walitt designed the Market Machine, a market analysis and modeling tool used by appraisers throughout the U.S.. He has also provided valuation consulting for international applications.
He writes for industry publications, and has spoken at events including the Appraisal Summit and Expo, the Appraisal Institute’s Annual Conference, the Valuation Expo, and client conferences. In addition, he designs and presents continuing education courses for online and classroom delivery.
Walitt holds the SRA designation with the Appraisal Institute, is a member (MNAA) of the National Association of Appraisers and serves on their Board of Directors, received his Certified Distance Education Instructor (CDEI) certificate in 2014, and is an AQB Certified USPAP Instructor.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
