Ashley Bierwolf
VICE-CHAIR
With 15 years in the valuation industry, understanding complex problems and architecting elegant solutions is Ashley Bierwolf’s passion.
She began in BPO services in 2009 at Clear Capital then transitioned into appraisal review for both pre-funding and post-funding purposes in 2011 when she led their Collateral Desktop Analysis department. Building and training a team of 65 reviewers, this was where she gained an appreciation for teaching appraisal quality, working with appraisers through new requirements, and supporting lenders’ and investors’ needs for accurate, well composed valuation reports.
In the following years, product management became her method for making positive change in the valuation industry through the use of advanced algorithms, improved data, machine learning, computer vision, and policy change. Leveraging all of that experience, she now leads collateral policy for HomeVision, applying her skills in merging together appraisal standards and technology for the standardization and refinement of appraisal review for both AMCs and Lenders in our evolving appraisal landscape.
