CRN brings together financial institutions, regulators, risk managers, appraisers, appraisal management companies, educators, and technology providers to strengthen the collateral valuation system that supports real estate finance. Our focus has grown with the industry.

Today, CRN works to shape the federal and state laws, regulations, and policies that govern collateral risk management, including those that determine how technology and data may be used in valuation and lending.

Through leadership, collaboration, and commitment to safety and soundness, CRN advances lending practices including the use of valuation techniques and methodologies commensurate with risk. CRN believes in using technology to advance the valuation and collateral risk process and results. Through extensive relationships across financial institutions, government, and the valuation industry, CRN is positioned to lead change rather than follow it. Membership and sponsorship support this work and provide access to the CRN network, including relationships and opportunities to contribute to the discussions that shape the industry's direction.
